Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
Your name, email address, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), exam-group preferences with an optional exam date, language preference, and your attempt and performance data (answers, scores, timing, subject metrics). For purchases we keep payment references only — order IDs, payment IDs, plan and amount. We never store your card, UPI, or bank details. Payments are processed by Razorpay and/or Stripe under their own privacy policies.
Technical data when you write to us: the IP address and browser identifier attached to a contact-form submission, kept so we can identify and block spam.
2. How we use it
To run the service — scoring, rankings, analytics; to generate AI analysis and study plans — for that purpose your performance data (scores, subject accuracy, timing — never your name, email, or payment details) is sent to AI providers (currently Google Gemini and/or Anthropic Claude); to send transactional email (receipts, password resets); and to answer your support messages.
3. What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We run no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.
4. Cookies
A session cookie (login state), a CSRF-protection cookie, and — only if you tick "Remember me" at login — a persistent authentication cookie so you stay signed in. We set no advertising or analytics cookies.
5. Security
TLS for everything in transit, industry-standard password hashing (bcrypt), access-controlled infrastructure, and signature verification on every payment notification.
6. Retention & deletion
Account data is kept while your account is active. Request deletion at [email protected] and we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except payment records we must retain under Indian law.
Contact-form submissions, including that technical data, are kept until we review and clear them from our support inbox.
7. Your rights
Access, correction, and deletion of your data — write to [email protected] or use the form on the Contact page. Data-protection queries are handled through the same channels.
8. Changes
Updates are posted on this page with a new effective date.
